HPNLU Recruitment 2022 :- The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU, Shimla) has announced a notification for the recruitment to the post of Security Guard/Hostel Warden/ Research Associate of 18 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of PG/10th are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the interview. Interested and eligible can apply through online on or before 20 July 2022. The detailed eligibility criteria and application process are given below.
About HPNLU :- The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU, Shimla), was established by the State Government in the year 2016, by an Act of the Legislature (Act 16 of 2016). The University started functioning from 5th of October, 2016. The first batch of B.A.LL.B. students was inducted on the basis merit/score secured by them in different national level entrance tests. The University started its own Entrance Exam: HPNLET, in 2017-2018 and continued for academic session of 2018-2019 for admissions in various courses i. e. B.A.LL.B.; B.B.A. LL.B.; and LL.M. (One-Year Programme with two specializations viz- Constitutional Law and Criminal Law) and Ph.D.Programmes.

Detailed Eligibility :
Educational Qualification For HPNLU Recruitment 2022 :-
Research Associate (Law) :
- As per the UGC Regulations 2018, and HPNLU, Executive and Service Regulations 2020 for the post of Assistant Professor of Law.
Hostel Warden :
- He / She shall hold Post Graduate Degree(minimum 55% marks) in any discipline and working experience in any educational institution for minimum one year. Preference will be given to Post Graduate Degree in Law.
Security Guard (Male) :
- 10th pass from a recognized Board of School Education. Preferable: Ex-servicemen who have been released from the service most recently.
Age Limit :-
- Security Guard/Hostel Warden/ Research Associate – 18 to 45 years
Total Vacancies :-
- Research Associate – 01 Post
- Hostel Warden – 02 Posts
- Security Guard – 15 Posts
Salary :-
- Research Associate (Law) : Rs. 40,000/-
- Hostel Warden : Rs. 50,000/-
- Security Guard: Rs. 4900-10680/-
HPNLU Recruitment 2022 Selection Process :-
- The selection process will be based on written test/interview. The University reserves the right to dispense with the written examination for the post keeping in view the number of applications viz-a-viz vacancies and other circumstances. In lieu of marks for written test, the University may prescribe a direct selection criterion based on essential qualifications prescribe in the Regulations, (as applicable), and may directly conduct the Interview, Skill test/ evaluation of all the eligible applicants, as the case maybe.

- Hostel Warden : Rs. 2500/-
- Security Guard: Rs. 1,200/- (For SC, OBC and EWS the pay Rs. 600/-)
