Central Institute Of Mining And Fuel Research (CIMFR) Dhanbad, a constituent lab Oratory under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi aims to provide R&D inputs for the entire coal-energy chain encompassing exploration, mining and utilization. The lab Oratory also strives to develop mineral based industries to reach the targeted production for country’s energy security and growth with high standards of safety, economy and cleaner environment.In view of the National Missions recently declared by the Government of India.

Qualification / Experience :-
Project Assistant:
- The candidates must have completed All 3 years B.Sc OR B.Sc (H) in Geology Or All 3 years B.Sc OR B.Sc (H) in Chemistry OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering Or Diploma in Computer Science Engineering Or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Or Diploma in Mining Engineering Or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Project Associate – I:
- Post Graduate Master Degree with Geology/Applied Geology Or Post Graduate Master Degree with Chemistry / Applied Chemistry Or B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mining Engineering/ Civil Engineering.
Project Associate – II:
- Degree in Geology/Applied Geology with essential experience of 02 years in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions OR S&T Organisations and Scientific activities and Services with Essential Experience of 02 years as above
Or
- B.E/B.Tech in Mining Engineering with essential experience of 02 years in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions OR S&T Organisations and Scientific activities and Services with Essential Experience of 02 years as above
Age Limit :-
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 50 years for Project Assistant
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years for Project Associate- I and Project Associate- II
Salary :-
- Project Assistant – Rs.20,000/-
- Project Associate- I – Rs.25,000-31,000/-
- Project Associate – II – Rs.28,000-35,000/-
