DTC Recruitment 2022 : Government of India, Ministry of Transport took over the local bus services of Delhi in May 1948 in the name of Delhi Transport Service when they found that the services offered by Gawalior and Northern India Transport Company Ltd., the then licensee, were inadequate.

A Delhi Road Transport Authority was constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950. This Authority became undertaking of Municipal Corporation of Delhi by an Act of Parliament in April, 1958.

Educational Qualification For DTC Recruitment 2022 :-

Assistant Foreman (R&M):

Three years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2 years experience includes Apprenticeship and training.

Assistant Fitter (R&M):

Should have ITI in the trade of Mechanic (MV)/Diesel Mechanic/Tractor Mechanic/Automobile/Fitter. OR

Should have undergone three years apprenticeship in the trade of Mechanic (MV)/ Diesel Mechanic/ Tractor Mechanic/ Automobile/ Fitter under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 conducted by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) and qualified for national Certificate of Apprenticeship.

Assistant Electrician (R&M):

Should have ITI in the trade of Electrician (Auto)/Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics. OR

Should have undergone three years apprenticeship in the trade of Electrician (Auto)/ Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 conducted by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) and qualified for national Certificate of Apprenticeship

Age Limit :-

Assistant Foreman (R&M) : 18 – 35 years

Assistant Fitter (R&M) : 18 – 25 years
Assistant Electrician (R&M) : 18 – 25 years

Salary :-

Assistant Foreman (R&M) : Rs. 46,374/ month

Assistant Fitter (R&M) : Rs.17,693/ month
Assistant Electrician (R&M) : Rs.17,693/ month

Selection Process :-

The selection process for the above mentioned posts will be based on the marks secured by candidates as per merit, in the Technical Qualification as required for the said post.
